Oral Surgeon William Jason Barker, D.M.D.

My name is Dr. William Jason Barker. I was born and raised in Lexington Kentucky. I received my undergraduate degree from Transylvania University and my Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky in 1984. I completed a surgical residency in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I returned to Lexington and began practice in 1987. I belong to a number of organizations including the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association and American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

I have devoted my professional career to all aspects of oral surgery with a special interest in the removal of wisdom teeth and placement of dental implants. To keep abreast of the latest developments in oral surgery, I have always exceeded the continuing education requirements in Kentucky.

My hobbies include fishing, working out at the gym and watching sporting events. I have been married 25 years to my wife Candi. We have two children, Will and Andrew.
